This website gives you an overview of the university’s three campuses – St. George, Mississauga and Scarborough – and articulates many of the reasons why U of T is justly renowned as the finest teaching and research university in the country.
Founded in 1827, U of T is very much like the Greater Toronto Area: it is a large, multicultural community with a great number of opportunities and resources; and it is organized around neighbourhoods, where smaller gatherings of people come together to learn and think and work.
In our knowledge-based age, higher education is becoming increasingly important to our prosperity and our quality of life.
